Romancing SaGa 3 Announced for PS Vita
Square Enix announced that a remaster version of Romancing Saga 3 will be headed for PS Vita, Android, and iOS this year in Japan. The original game was released by Squaresoft in 1995 on SNES but was never released outside Japan.
After the release of Romancing SaGa 2 on Vita last year, Square Enix revealed the official website of Romancing SaGa 3. Graphics, menus and backgrounds will be totally revamped for this new version.
Romancing SaGa 3 is the sixth episode of the SaGa series. This non-linear RPG lets the player choose among 8 main characters each with their own storyline.
Retro JRPGs are coming on strong this year with the release of Radiant Historia Perfect Chronology on 3DS and Secret of Mana on Switch.
The remaster of Romancing Saga 3 will release later this year in Japan for PS Vita, Android and iOS. The game hasn’t been announced in other territories yet, but the previous episode made it oversees so that’s a good reason to be optimistic.
