Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash Opening Revealed

Marvelous has released a video clocking in at a little over half hour which shows how the game first gets underway with new gameplay, animation, and details on the story — it may be in Japanese without subtitles, but it’s really pretty clear what’s going in!

Besides, let’s face it, Senran Kagura at this point doesn’t need or require a story, nor does it seem very interested in telling more of the story that it originally set out to do. It seems that watersports have been a pastime of the shinobi for a long time now, and it’s up to the current cast of girls to battle it out in water gun fights. Peach Beach Splash is the lovely Splatoon meets boobs and it doesn’t look half bad!

If you absolutely cannot wait to get these girls wet, then you’ll be interested in the mobile browser game which you can access by scanning a QR code right here. If you click the orange button underneath Yumi being soaked, then you’ll be taken forward to play the game — be warned though, it’s not very good. Some new artwork has been revealed, too.

Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash releases on PS4 come 16th March with a Western release date at a later time.
